Tom performs for school assemblies, community events, family events, conferences, libraries and festivals throughout the Midwest and often beyond.
Tom’s school and library programs and family concerts are entirely participatory and often touch on and celebrate a variety of themes such as reading and books, self-esteem, the environment, bullying, family stories, languages, cultural diversity, peace and the joy of laughter and movement. Although he’ll gladly try to fit to the theme requested by a client, he doesn’t always do “set” programs.
Conferences: Tom has frequently presented at early childhood, education and environmental conferences, keynoting and leading breakout sessions that explore the role of music in shaping a child’s life and the world we live in. He loves sharing ideas and teaching tools with other adults, while always remembering the child in all of us.
